Top Young Entrepreneur – Volta
Enterprise Saskatchewan (ES) and Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE) are proud to present the Volta Award, which will be presented at the 2011 SYPE Silver Spades as chosen by online voters and a SYPE selection committee. We are working together to encourage young people to choose entrepreneurship as a career path.
Phoenix Group helped SYPE and ES build the contest using the powerful Facebook social media platform. The contest will be supported through other social media, including LinkedIn. Web ads on Facebook and other popular sites will encourage young professionals to enter and to vote.
Young entrepreneurs can enter by visiting the Volta Facebook page and submitting either a video, photos or a written submission that satisfies SYPE’s criteria. The top 4 will be selected by a SYPE selection committee and those top 4 will receive a professional marketing video that will be uploaded to Facebook. The winner will receive $5,000 at the SYPE Silver Spades.
